Many of our favorite are live albums. There’s nothing quite like the magic of musicians on stage together reacting to one another in real time and creating something that only really gets to exist in that moment. We’ve wanted to put out a live for years, so last year we decided to try to capture some of that magic and record one. We got the band together — Trevor walker on bass (and some guitar) and Wayne Redden on the drums.

Shows at Nantahala Outdoor Center have become something of a tradition for us, and we often have the whole fam-damnly come up and hang for the day. Playin music by the river, hearing the water rush past, and watching folks having the best day is a highlight of our summer performing season because it’s the kind of place folks come together for. We hope this album gives you a little bit of that same feeling.
